While checking out at Wal-Mart, ask a question about your order.
this was actually done at Hoarkleys as i rented a movie. This was a a lot shorter than the other question. this person didn't know me so she looked at me strange, answered my questions but i also dint feel the need to explain myself to anyone.
Ask for directions to a location. Repeat back part of the directions for clarification.
I had every intention to not say a word about struggle after i had asked for directions from my roommates but it was so extremely difficult as they watched me carefully place every word i was forming into a sentence. As i finished forming my question my roommates were unsure of how to answer me that they hesitated giving me directions, but as they finished and i confirmed the directions to the DI they still looked at me confused. as i explained to them what i was doing i felt so many questions forming about those who struggle with this daily. Questions such as: is this how they always react? Why cant people just see that not everyone is made the same?
